The Author

Hi! My name is Eva Schmidt. I was born to my parents, David and Elisabeth Enns, in Chilliwack British Columbia, and moved to La Crete, Alberta, at the age of eight. I married Peter, the love of my life, at nineteen. The Lord blessed us with two sons and two daughters, three of whom are married to wonderful people, and have given us six beautiful granddaughters and two handsome grandsons. I love you all. I have always enjoyed writing, but the needs of raising a family while establishing our own farm, resulted in me working outside of the home for many years. I enjoyed working in various departments of municipal government, and got to know many wonderful, caring people. You will always remain dear to me. After our children left home to make a life for themselves, I resigned my position at the County, and took a part time office administration position with a local logging company. It was then that I started writing Grace for Tomorrow, for which I am currently writing a sequel, Grace to Forgive. I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was eleven years old. Although at times I have strayed from the Lord, he has always been faithful in drawing me back into a close relationship with him. My prayer is that my writings will glorify the Lord and be a blessing to you.
